GREETINGS! I AM Vlad!
I Am a New York-based UX/Product Designer
I’ve had the privilege to work with amazing people, collaborating on and leading projects that have ranged from web work to mobile designs and software applications. These exciting jobs have taken place in various industries and fields with well-established businesses, startups, and Software as a Service (SaaS) companies. The experiences have given me multifaceted expertise within team settings, in-house environments, and working remotely.
As a thorough product designer, I make sure to assess and evaluate progress every step of the way to provide the utmost value to businesses effectively. Often this means broadening my focus into strategy, content development, research, testing, or creating operational efficiencies through the adoption of new tools.
I Am Passionate about User Experience Design
Since starting a graphic design career, I have always been amazed by product designs that continually improve users’ usability, desirability, and interactive experiences. To me, the most effective design comes from a well-balanced understanding of product producers’ goals and users’ behavior habits and needs. At the heart of everything, what I do is for the user—people just like you. We are all driven by the same basic things, but the situations and scenarios differ. If we learn to understand and empathize with those situations, product fit and brand messaging will seamlessly fall into place. I pride myself on my ability to integrate design aesthetics and technical expertise, with the disciplines of user experience design in mind.
My Attitude When Solving Problems is to Face them Head On!
I think of problems and issues as great opportunities to learn! I truly believe that the design and smart adoption of technology can effectively solve customers’ problems and enhance businesses’ value.
My Hobbies and Creative Achievements
I’ve been a soccer player since the age of 14, and I haven’t stopped yet! Additionally, I am combining my love of traveling with digital photography. www.observatory.gallery
Progressive rock music is on my headphones a lot. In 2007 my partner and I founded the record company Trail Records and had promoted previously obscure progressive rock bands worldwide. I’m proud to say that I’ve designed the cover art for CDs and records, edited videos, and maintained our online store.
Currently, I am learning how to play the Handpan. I enjoy practicing the instrument and performing with it during yoga classes.
